Prepaid Wireless

This is a symetrical, unshaped service.

Our prepaid package will provide you with up to 10Mb/s download and upload speeds.

This service is traffic based. Payments are not time linked and do not expire.

The service is inexpensive, while still offering high speed downloads.

Uncapped Wireless

Unlike certain ISPs and cellular service providers, these options are uncapped. We do not charge for traffic / bandwidth. Our billing model is based on international speed.

We have high speed local peering connections with other South African hosting companies and Internet Service Providers. We do not limit our client connection speeds on these local links.

 

Asymetrical Services

 

This uncapped service is designed for humans who want to use the internet as much as they want - for some downloading, streaming media, browsing, and more. It is not designed for computer programs that are setup to continuously download 24/7, every day.

The vast majority of our uncapped clients will be able to use as much as they want.

However, we will take action against the very small minority who through their usage start affecting all of our other clients' internet experience.

It is our duty to make sure that the very few will not ruin our uncapped solutions for everyone.

Our primary concern is for the majority of our clients. If there are individuals that are putting strain on the network and affecting our other clients negatively we reserve the right to stop offering them the service.

Again, our uncapped service is designed for humans who would like to use the internet as much as they want.

If it is your intention to setup programs to download tv episodes, movies, music, programs & other files every single hour of the day, every day of the month then these uncapped packages are not for you. Please find another service provider.

We want to make this clear upfront so that nobody is disappointed or surprised later.

Night Owl Burst allows your download speeds to be increased up to the limit shown between the hours of 1:00am and 6:00am.

These services are semi shaped.

Web browsing, voip and email traffic has high priority 24/7.
All others ports and protocols have a low priority.
Torrents have medium priority between 6:00pm and midnight, a high priority between midnight and 6:00am and are blocked between 6:00am and 6:00pm

The BURST function means that download speeds can increase to 4Mb if there is sufficient capacity on the Cape Connect Network. BURST bandwidth is provided on a first come, first served basis and is not guaranteed.

Upload speeds will be 512Kb/s.
